The Stars Ball is a black tie optional gala that is modeled after the Oscars. The difference is that the actors are replaced with children who are battling cancer and other life-altering conditions.
For one night, these children are able to escape the reality of their conditions and enjoy a world of fantasy where they are the STARS. The girls hair and make-up are professionally done and they are dressed in beautiful gowns. The boys are fitted with tuxedos.
Then, they are whisked away in a stretch limousine to The Harriet Himmel Theater where they walk the red carpet. All of the guests line the red carpet to take pictures and autographs of our Little Stars.
It makes the children feel special and it gives them and their families a night to remember.
